What is Plywood Veneer?

Plywood Veneer is thinly sliced from natural trees by a peeling machine. There are 2 types of veneer: core veneer and face veneer. The difference between the core veneer and the face veneer is the thickness and the species. The species of core veneer are mostly Acacia, Eucalyptus, Poplar, Rubber, Pine… and the thickness from 1.7-2mm, both face is rough. The species of face veneer is made from special wood such as Birch, Oak, Maple, …it’s much thinner than core veneer, about 0.25-0.3mm and the surface is sanded well, the wood grain is visible. In Vietnam, many manufacturers could only produce the core veneer with the advantage of the abundant source of acacia, eucalyptus, and rubber. RAINFOREST WOOD CO.,LTD
